I'm a scriptwriter, novelist and poet. I've written a dozen radio plays broadcast by BBC Radio, including most recently Common Pursuit (2002) and The Poetry Disease (2001). I've just dramatized Arvan Kumar's Heartstone Odyssey for independent local radio (2003). I've also done creative work on the Internet.

I teach on the MA in scriptwriting at the University of Salford, having taught writing part-time for night classes and day schools for two decades. I'm currently (Summer 2003) on the CAPE team developing links between creativity and science in schools.
